Changes for the 2010 Fall Season

- NO Fundraiser, we've adjusted the Player Fee's to eliminate this.
- We've added an EARLY REGISTRATION DISCOUNT ($5.00 discount) for Registrations paid before June 30th, 2010
- We've added a LATE Registration Fee ($5.00 fee) after July 15th, 2010

| Players thru the age of 6 learn fundamental soccer skills in our co-ed Mini’s division, (U5 thru U7). Players in upper divisions (ages 7-18) are assigned to gender-based teams, and compete in divisional and regional matches. Practices are held weeknights usually starting in July, games are played on Saturdays. Team travel depends on level of competition. |

Half Day Soccer Camps 2010
The First Touch Soccer Training Summer Half Day Camp program emphasizes improvement of your technical skills (dribbling, passing, shooting and more) in order to become a complete player. You will also be put into tactical situations to help you improve your overall playing ability and understanding of the game. Ex-professional player Dayo Oyetuga will be the lead instructor. This is an opportunity for you to experience the excitement of learning new soccer skills with experienced coaches.
- Camp Dates: Monday, July 26 through Thursday, July 29
- Camp Times: 9:00am to 12 Noon
- Location: NORTH HILL ELEMENTARY - 19835 - 8th Avenue South, Des Moines, WA 98148
- Who Can Play: Separate Sessions for Boys and Girls Ages 5-9 or 10-18 Years
- Pricing: $75.00 per player
- Each player receives a camp T-shirt
- Sibling Discount: register two or more family members and the first child is regular price, any additional receives $10 discount.
- Multi-camp Discount: register for multiple sessions and the first session is regular price, additional sessions receive $10 discount.
- ONLY ONE DISCOUNT PER CAMPER PLEASE
- What to Bring: Soccer Ball, Shin Guards, Soccer Cleats, Weather-appropriate attire, Sunscreen, Plenty of Water!

- Enrollment is on a first-come, first-serve basis! Registrations submitted will receive an e-mail confirmation upon registration processing.
- Payment in full is due at the time of registration.
- CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel 7 days or more in advance of the start of your camp date, you will receive a refund, less a $15.00 administrative fee.
- If you cancel 6 days or less in advance of the start of your camp date, you will receive a gift certificate, less a $25.00 administrative fee, towards a future First Touch Soccer Training Camp, subject to availability.
- We ARE NOT able to pro-rate for any missed days.

WE NEED COACHES!
Please consider volunteering to coach. It's a unique opportunity to help these young athletes grow; and, is an incredibly rewarding experience.
As Mini's coach (ages 4-7), you do not need experience, just a great disposition to work with young children and provide them guidance in the basics: no hands, no pushing, have FUN!
We have a desperate need for coaches to form teams for our older players. For those who would be interested in coaching ages 7 thru 17, continuing clinics are offered each season.
Once your registration as a coach is completed, we provide you information and assistance regarding establishing your own TEAM Page, and how to administer your team roster, schedule and communications.

Concussion Education - "When in doubt, sit them out!"
On July 26, 2009, House Bill 1824 – also known as the Zackery Lystedt Law – became effective. The law mandates that ALL players and parent(s)/guardians annually read and acknowledge an informed consent form relating to the nature and risk of concussion or head injury prior to the start of the season. The new law is an important step in ensuring player safety and mitigating head injuries. Read More Here |

Des Moines Midway Soccer Club offers an affordable alternative to year-round soccer, with very reasonable fees, a 5-month practice/play season and regulated playing time. Our league is open to boys and girls 4 to 18 years of age—players must be at least 4 years old by August 1st. The club is affiliated to the Highline Soccer Association, and is a member of the Washington Youth Soccer Association. Our season runs from July thru November.
